Roofing Services
No matter what type of property you have or what roofing solution you require, our team delivers a high-quality application of any of the following systems.
Felt Roofing
Built-up bitumen felt roofing remains one of the most trusted and cost-effective flat roofing solutions. Multiple reinforced layers are bonded together to create a durable, weatherproof surface, installed using traditional pour-and-roll or torch-on application methods.
- Proven, cost-effective flat roofing system
- Multi-layer construction for reliable waterproofing
- Suitable for domestic and commercial applications
- Straightforward repair and maintenance
Hot Melt Roofing
Hot melt is a liquid rubberised bitumen system, heated on site and applied to form a fully bonded, seamless waterproof membrane. It cures quickly, is unaffected by cold weather during installation, and is a preferred build-up beneath green roofs and podium decks due to its root-resistant properties.
- Fully bonded with no joints or seams
- Fast application and quick curing time
- Root-resistant — ideal beneath green roof systems
- Cost-effective for new build flat roofs
Single Ply Roofing
Single ply membranes such as PVC and TPO are high-performance, factory-manufactured sheets that can be mechanically fixed, fully bonded or ballasted. They're a popular choice for large commercial flat roofs thanks to their flexibility, lightweight nature and manufacturer-backed guarantees.
- Available in mechanically fixed, bonded or ballasted systems
- Lightweight with wide, factory-welded sheets to reduce joints
- Excellent for new build and large refurbishment projects
- Manufacturer-backed guarantees available
Cold Applied Liquid Membranes
Liquid waterproofing systems are applied cold and cure to form a seamless, flexible membrane that moulds itself around upstands, outlets and awkward detailing. They're particularly well suited to refurbishment projects, balconies and walkways where minimal disruption is important.
- Seamless coverage over complex roof details
- Minimal disruption — ideal for occupied buildings
- Flexible, crack-bridging finish
- Available in a range of colours and finishes
EPDM Roofing
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a synthetic rubber membrane applied to flat and low-pitch roofs as a single continuous sheet. With very few joints, it offers outstanding resistance to UV exposure, extreme temperatures and standing water, making it one of the longest-lasting flat roofing systems available.
- Lifespan of 40+ years with minimal maintenance
- Lightweight, flexible and highly puncture-resistant
- Ideal for extensions, garages, and commercial flat roofs
- Fully bonded or mechanically fixed installation
GRP Roofing (Fibreglass)
Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) roofing is laminated on site to form a single, seamless, fully bonded surface with no joints or overlaps — removing one of the most common causes of flat roof leaks. Finished with a UV-stable topcoat, it's exceptionally strong and low-maintenance.
- Completely seamless, joint-free surface
- Extremely strong, walkable and impact-resistant
- 20-25+ year lifespan with the right topcoat
- Well suited to balconies, dormers and complex shapes
Green Roofing
Green (living) roofs use a build-up of waterproofing, drainage and growing medium to support sedum, wildflower or biodiverse planting. As well as looking striking, they help manage rainwater run-off, improve insulation, support local wildlife and can lower a building's overall carbon footprint.
- Sedum, wildflower and biodiverse roof build-ups
- Improved thermal performance and rainwater attenuation
- Supports biodiversity and local wildlife
- Root-resistant waterproofing as standard
Blue Roofing
Blue roofs are engineered to temporarily attenuate — store and slowly release — rainwater, easing pressure on drainage systems during heavy rainfall. Using flow-control outlets and durable waterproofing, they're an effective sustainable urban drainage (SuDS) solution for both new build and refurbishment projects.
- Reduces flood risk by controlling rainwater discharge
- Supports SuDS and planning drainage requirements
- Can be combined with green roof build-ups
- Robust, long-life waterproofing beneath the attenuation layer
Warm Roofs
In a warm roof build-up, insulation sits above the structural deck and vapour control layer, with the waterproofing membrane on top. This keeps the deck at a stable temperature, significantly reducing the risk of condensation while improving thermal performance in line with current Building Regulations.
- Insulation positioned above the deck and vapour control layer
- Reduces condensation risk within the roof build-up
- Strong thermal performance for energy efficiency
- Compatible with EPDM, GRP, single ply and felt finishes
Roof Maintenance & Repairs
Most roof failures start small — a lifted lap, a blocked outlet, a hairline split in a flashing detail. Regular maintenance catches these issues early, extends the life of your existing roof, and helps keep manufacturer warranties valid. We carry out scheduled inspections, minor repairs and emergency call-outs on flat and pitched roofs of any age or system.
- Scheduled roof inspections with a written condition report
- Clearing gutters, outlets and drainage points
- Resealing joints, laps and flashing details
- Minor repairs to felt, EPDM, GRP and single ply membranes
- Emergency call-outs for storm damage and active leaks
- Ongoing maintenance contracts for commercial premises
